How to Use the Spreadsheet
Use this worksheet to see how much you should/can pay yourself while ensuring you’ve kept enough aside for taxes.
It will show you how much to set aside for taxes and give you a system you can use every month.
I have all the formulas you need already built in, you just need to plug in your numbers and let the worksheet create a high-level view of how your business is doing.
I recommend doing this at the end of every month. Here are the 5 basic steps:
When you open this spreadsheet for the first time, you’ll need to determine how much of a buffer/safety net you want to keep in your account.
Enter your revenue for that month and your business bank account balance
The spreadsheet will then calculate how much you have leftover to pay yourself
From there, you can allocate dollar amounts to your various savings accounts—the Remaining Balance is yours!
